Amazing African antelopes

The greater kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) is an African antelope with a reddish/brownish coat.  It is easy to avoid confusing them with other animal types because of the white streaks which go down their coats.

The scimitar-horned oryx (Oryx dammah) is presumed to be practically extinct in the wild, with a population in a fenced reserve in Tunisia being expanded for possible reintroduction back into North Africa.
